Jewish Music for String Quartet & String Ensembles

Jewish music has a special place in wedding celebrations. Live strings bring a beautiful quality to melodies celebrating the Jewish heritage and tradition, making them suitable for both traditional and modern Jewish weddings.

Our Jewish music repertoire includes famous pieces including Dodi Li, Hava Nagila, Mazel Tov and Siman Tov, and Yerushalayim Shel Zahav.

These pieces can be used throughout different parts of a wedding or celebration. For example, straight after you smash the glass at the end of your ceremony, we can launch into Mazel Tov and Siman Tov. Your guests will all start clapping along in time with the music, and this really gets the party started! More reflective melodies like Yerushalayim Shel Zahav will create a beautiful atmosphere during the ceremony, and is perfect as background music during your seven blessings, for example.

Our musicians can perform as a violin or cello solo, duo, trio or string quartet depending on the size and style of your event.

Persian Music for Violin and String Musicians

Persian music has a rich tradition and we often get asked for some of the famous songs for Persian weddings and events.

Our Persian repertoire includes Ahesta Bero, Shah Doomaad, Simin Bari and Soltane Ghalbha. Ahesta Bero is a particularly requested song for the bride’s wedding entrance, and we also have the song with backing track, which is perfect for large wedding halls.

If you’re planning a Persian wedding, live violin and cello provides a beautiful way to include familiar Persian music alongside other styles of music chosen for your day.

Turkish Music for Strings

Turkish music ranges from traditional wedding music to beloved songs that have become part of Turkish popular culture.

Our Turkish repertoire includes pieces such as Al Yazmalim, Caddelerde Ruzgar, Damat Halayi, Deniz ve Mehtap, Hatirla Sevgilim, Hercai, Karlar Duser, Kimler Geldi Kimler Gecti, Oyle Sarhos Olsam Ki, Pervane (Bana Ellerini Ver), Samanyolu, Seninle Bir Dakika, Sevdim Bir Genc Kadini and Yildizlarin Altinda.

Turkish music is often requested at weddings our musicians play at. Couples love to include meaningful songs from their family or cultural background. A string quartet, string trio, or string duo can play Turkish music for the ceremony and reception, while a solo violinist or cellist can create a more intimate vibe for an entrance or other special moment.

Our Turkish string repertoire can also be performed for cultural celebrations, private events, dinners and parties. Most often, we are requested to combine Turkish and other styles of music.

Arabic Music for Violin and String Ensemble

Arabic music offers an incredibly rich repertoire of melodies, rhythms and has a deep musical tradition, making it a wonderful choice for Arabic-inspired events. Live violin, cello and string ensembles brings a distinctive sound to Arabic music. Some of our musicians have performed Arabic music for the King of Saudi Arabia, with Omar Khairat and the Egyptian Opera House.

Our Arabic repertoire includes music by some of the most celebrated names in Arabic music, including Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim Hafez and Ragheb Alama. The repertoire includes favourites such as Ahwak, Alf Leila Wa Leila, Ana Fe Entezarak, Enta Omri and Nassini El Donya, alongside other traditional and contemporary Arabic pieces.

For couples planning an Arabic wedding or event in London or further afield, our musicians can perform Arabic music with Western Classical, pop or other repertoire, allowing you to create a musical programme that reflects both your personal taste and cultural background.
