Christian Wedding and Church Music for String Quartet

Our worship music is often requested for Christian wedding ceremonies, where live strings provide an elegant alternative (or addition) to traditional organ or piano accompaniment. (Yes, we’re happy to work with your church organist, and have even worked with trumpet before for a church wedding service!)

Our string quartet or ensemble can perform worship music as guests arrive, during the processional, while signing the register and for your exit at the end of the service. One of our favourites is Goodness of God for the bride’s entrance – it’s a beautiful one!

Our musicians can perform as a violin or cello solo, duo, trio or string quartet depending on the size and style of your event.

Catholic Nuptial Mass Music for Strings

Our string musicians can play beautiful instrumental music for Catholic Nuptial Masses, creating an elegant and reverent atmosphere throughout the Mass.

Our list includes traditional hymns and also Classical music that can be performed at your chosen points during the liturgy, including the entrance, offertory, Communion and exit. We can also discuss specific repertoire with you to ensure the music is suitable for your service and church. More traditional priests only allow religious or Classical music as a part of the ceremony, and others allow pop music, too. So it depends on your situation!

We are also happy to work with your organist or choir, and if there’s a song the congregation would sing along to, let us know!

Funeral and Memorial Service Music for Violin and String Ensemble

A string ensemble can provide a beautiful and dignified accompaniment for funerals, memorial services and celebrations of life. Our string musicians can perform traditional hymns, Christian music and other meaningful pieces or songs you choose which reflect the life and wishes of the person being remembered.

A string quartet, trio, duo or solo violinist can perform music as guests arrive for the funeral, during the service and as they leave. During a wake, we can perform a list of your loved one’s favourite music in their honour.

We understand that choosing music for a funeral can be a very personal decision, and we’re happy to help you select appropriate pieces and songs from our repertoire. If there’s a song missing that you’d like to hear us play, let us know and we’ll see if we can find the sheet music for you.
