Our String Ensembles
At String Musicians London our string players and ensembles are the best in the industry. Our team features musicians who perform with top orchestras including the London Symphony and BBC Symphony. We’ve shared the stage with stars including Adele, Ed Sheeran, Stjepan Hauser, Bocelli, and even a few actors – hello Tom Cruise! As top graduates of the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music, we approach each performance with the same spirit, whether we’re playing Pachelbel’s Canon for your bridal entrance or performing Bon Jovi in front of a crowd. We will work closely with you to curate the perfect playlist for your day. Our ensembles can play basically anything! If you have a special request, let’s talk; our goal is to bring your musical vision to life.
Our musicians love playing Bridgerton music (it’s a request we get a lot – yes, we also loved watching the series!). We feel that the series really showcased the elegance and musical versatility of the String Quartet. The string quartet ensemble is a great choice if you have a larger venue to fill. You’ll love the harmonies and the classy vibes!
If you’re looking for a more affordable option, check out our String Trio. The trio offers similar harmonic complexity and depth, without sacrificing volume or musical impact. It delivers a rich sound and elegant look that’s perfect for weddings, events, or any special occasion. We can play all the same pieces and songs as a string quartet and string duo can, too!
For something even more dramatic, you could also consider a Piano Trio (piano, violin, and cello). This creates a full sound and looks absolutely fantastic, especially if your venue already has a grand piano! If there isn’t a piano at the venue, don’t worry – our pianist can provide a portable piano. The combination of piano and strings creates an impactful atmosphere that is unbeatable.
Our Violin and Cello Duo is one of the most popular choices for weddings and events at String Musicians London. Our duo music is expertly arranged to create a complete sound with the violinist covering the treble notes and the cellist playing the bass. We perform a wide range of music—from classical favourites to Bridgerton and Bollywood and even some rock! Another bonus – the duo’s compact size means it can fit into quite small spaces. It’s also a more affordable option compared to a string quartet or trio.
